Why choose CRP129E PLUS car diagnostic device?

The CRP129E Plus OBD2 scanner is a significant upgrade compared to other scanners. Its functions are almost the same as the powerful full-system LAUNCH scanner: 3 times improved user experience, full system, support for all vehicle data, new advanced functions, and wider vehicle coverage to meet the diagnostic needs of the latest models. This scanner also offers flexible selection buttons that minimize the necessary operation to quickly access the function you want.

All-System Diagnostics: LAUNCH CRP129E PLUS is specially designed for DIY users and automotive technicians. It can access all vehicle systems, such as engine, transmission (TCM), ABS brakes, airbag system (SRS), air conditioning system, steering angle sensor, air suspension and more. It reads and clears fault codes, resets monitoring systems and clears warning lights, displays text, graphics and real-time data simulations for efficient fault location. This enables OE-level diagnosis, helping repair shops and mechanics to accurately identify vehicle problems.

8 Popular Reset Functions and Lifetime Free Use: As a professional car diagnostic tool, CRP129E Plus performs commonly used service resets that DIY users or car technicians need in daily maintenance. It supports 8 service functions, such as oil change reset, electric parking brake (EPB) reset, tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) reset, steering angle sensor (SAS) reset, battery registration, throttle reset, injector coding and more.

Full OBDII special function support: Read and clear codes, real-time data, freeze frame, I/M readiness check, oxygen sensor diagnosis, internal monitor check, EVAP system diagnosis, component check and read vehicle data. Works on all OBDII/EOBD/JOBD/KOBD/CAN compliant vehicles manufactured after 1996.

Battery Registration: A graphical display lets you easily see if the battery is in normal operating condition. Helps assess battery health and provides warnings of potential battery or charging system issues.

Real-time data stream analysis in graphs: Supports simultaneous display of four data, recording, reading, taking screenshots, recording screen videos, and printing health assessment reports. There are maintenance guides, fault code explanations, technical manuals, maintenance cases, support services, and instructional videos online to help you understand faults faster.

Google Web Search: Connects directly to Google where you can find more information about trouble codes such as technical notes, diagnostic instructions, code occurrence times and descriptions, speeding up repairs and saving time.

System diagnostics:

This function is specifically designed to diagnose the electronic control systems of a specific vehicle model.

All basic functions support full vehicle system diagnosis in all pre-installed vehicle diagnostic software.

Notes:

Smart diagnostics (Automatic detection):

This feature allows you to quickly access the vehicle's electronic control systems by decoding the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) without having to manually navigate through the menu step by step. After establishing the connection, turn the ignition key on and the system will enter automatic recognition mode.

Notes:

Once the system successfully obtains the vehicle's VIN, it will proceed to scan the vehicle's systems. Once the scan is complete, a diagnostic report will be automatically generated and sent to your email inbox (if email is linked).

Manual diagnostics:

If the device cannot obtain VIN information, you can also perform vehicle diagnostics manually. In this mode, you should use the menu-based command and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.

Notes:

Maximize your efficiency and profitability with the CRP129E PLUS diagnostic tool

SRS System: The Seat Belt Restraint System (SRS) consists of crash sensors, a control unit and airbags. This diagnostic tool is able to check all electrical parameters to assess the health of the system.

Brake system: If the brake pedal feels soft or you notice an unusual smell or sound, proper brake system function is critical for safe driving and control.

Exhaust system: The system's performance can be affected by the age of the vehicle or poor quality fuel. A good exhaust system will significantly reduce harmful emissions and protect you from fines.

Fuel system: If your car won't start or the check engine light is on, check your fuel system regularly to keep your car performing well and emissions low.

Wiper system: If the wipers crackle or leave streaks, visibility can be reduced and pose a risk of accident if the car is not checked regularly.

Lighting system: If the turn signals are unstable or the lights dim quickly, there may be a fault in the system.

Provide complete OBDII diagnostics:

This option provides a quick way to check diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), locate the cause of the engine malfunction indicator (MIL) illumination, check the status of monitoring systems prior to an emissions inspection, verify repairs made, and perform other emissions-related services.

  1. Read fault codes
This function identifies which part of the emission control system is faulty.

  2. Clear fault codes
This function clears the vehicle's fault codes after the codes have been retrieved and repairs have been made.
Make sure the ignition key is in the ON position but the engine is not running before performing the procedure.

  3. I/M standby mode (Inspection/Maintenance)
Checks whether the vehicle's various emissions-related systems are functioning properly and are ready for inspection and maintenance tests.
The function can also be used to check the performance status of the monitoring system and to ensure the success of the repair.

  4. Data Stream
Retrieves and displays real-time data and parameters from the vehicle's ECU.

  5. View a frozen image (Freeze Frame)
Takes a picture of the vehicle's operating status in the event of an emissions-related fault.
Note: If the fault codes have been cleared, the frozen image may not be stored in the vehicle's memory.

  6. O2 sensor test
Retrieves the results of the latest O2 sensor monitoring test from the vehicle computer.

  7. On-Board Monitor Test
Retrieves test results for emissions-related powertrain components and systems that are not continuously monitored. Test availability depends on the vehicle manufacturer.

  8. EVAP system test
Allows you to initiate a leak test for the vehicle's EVAP system. Refer to the vehicle's service manual for instructions on how to stop the test.

  9. Vehicle information
Retrieves a list of information provided by the vehicle manufacturer from the vehicle's computer.

Vehicle coverage:

This tool is specifically designed to work with all OBD II compliant vehicles, including CAN (Controller Area Network). The United States EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) requires that all passenger cars and light trucks sold since 1996 be OBD II compliant. This applies to all American, Asian and European vehicles.

A small number of 1994 and 1995 gasoline-powered models are also OBD II compliant. To check if your 1994 or 1995 vehicle is OBD II compliant, check the following:

  1. Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label. It is most often located under the hood or near the radiator. If the vehicle is OBD II compliant, the label will say “OBD II Certified.”

  2. Government regulations require that all OBD II compliant vehicles have a “common” 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC).

Note: Some 1994 and 1995 vehicles may have a 16-pin connector but are not OBD II compliant. Only vehicles that have the “OBD II Certified” label on their emissions label are OBD II compliant.
